City of Flagstaff, Coconino County Labor Day Closures

FLAGSTAFF — Flagstaff’s City Hall offices at 211 W. Aspen Ave. will be closed Sept. 3, 2018 in observance of Labor Day. City Hall offices will reopen Sept. 4, 2018.

City of Flagstaff facilities that are also closed Labor Day include:

  • East Flagstaff Community Library (3000 N. Fourth St.)
  • Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library (300 W. Aspen Ave.)
  • Hal Jensen Recreation Center (2403 N. Izabel St.)
  • Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center (245 N. Thorpe Rd.)
  • Jay Lively Ice Arena (1650 N. Turquoise Dr.)

The Aquaplex at 1702 N. Fourth Street will be open from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. Trash and recycling collection and landfill hours will be on a regular schedule.

Coconino County offices closed for Labor Day

All Coconino County offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 3 in observance of Labor Day.

While the administrative offices at the Sheriff’s Office will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3, records will remain open with limited staff from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Please dial 911 for emergencies. For non-emergencies, dial 928-774-4523 to connect with the non-emergency dispatch number or to leave a message for one of the administrative offices.

Coconino County Public Health Services District (CCPHSD) Animal Management will have an officer available from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3. Contact the CCPHSD Animal Management office at 928-679-8756 and leave a message. Call 9-1-1 for emergencies.

Coconino County’s parks and natural areas will remain open Monday, Sept. 3, and the public is encouraged to visit the Coconino County Fair at Fort Tuthill County Park or one of the County’s parks and natural areas on Labor Day. Staff will be at administrative offices at Fort Tuthill County Park but will be engaged with Coconino County Fair operations and responding to emergencies. The public is encouraged to call 928-679-8000 during regular business hours on Tuesday for normal operation questions such as reserving a ramada or booking an event.
