FLAGSTAFF — Due to extreme fire danger the City of Flagstaff will not be hosting a firework display on July 4, 2018. The City of Flagstaff is currently under Stage 3 Fire Restrictions which prohibits the use and sale of consumer grade fireworks.
The City of Flagstaff has partnered with The Oakmont (2380 N. Oakmont Dr.) to host the 4thAnnual Lights on the Lawn Fourth of July Celebration, a community event on Wednesday, July 4 from 3 to 9 p.m. The festivities will include water slides, obstacle course, maze, mechanical bull, local food vendors, beer garden, and a musical performance by national recording artists J Michael Harter and Zona Road. The event is free of charge; some activities have a fee. Parking for the event will be located at the Continental Driving Range.
