FLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff is set to begin work on the Cinder Lake Landfill Access Road Improvement Project. The project will reconstruct Landfill Road to improve safety, optimize travel conditions and provide stormwater enhancements and is scheduled to be complete by September 2024.
Construction activities are expected to occur Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and landfill customers should expect up to 15-minute delays along Landfill Road. The road will also be closed to the public on four consecutive Sundays (April 7, 14, 21 and 28). Cinder Lake Landfill and the Hazardous Products Center (HPC) will remain open during normal business hours throughout the project.
