FLAGSTAFF — Flagstaff City Hall will be closed to the public on the afternoon of Tuesday, Dec. 24, all day Wednesday, Dec. 25 and all-day Wednesday, Jan. 1 for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Closures and reopening schedules for other City facilities and services are listed below.
Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library and East Flagstaff Community Library
- 12/24/24 – Closing at 12 p.m.
- 12/25/24 – Closed
- 12/31/24 – Closing at 12 p.m.
- 1/1/25 – Closed
- All library operations will resume on 12/26/24 and 1/2/25 after each holiday.
Jay Lively Activity Center
- 12/24/24 – Open with scheduled programming, closing early at 4 p.m.
- 12/25/24 – Closed
- 12/26/24 – Open at 10 a.m. with scheduled programming
- 12/31/24 – Open with scheduled programming, New Year’s Eve public skate scheduled from 6 – 10:15 p.m.

Solid Waste Collection Services
City-provided trash and recycling collection services will not be performed on Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Jan. 1. Consequently, all trash and recycling collection services will be postponed by one day for both residential and commercial customers. For example, collection services that would normally occur on Wednesday will occur on Thursday during these weeks. Collection services that normally occur on Thursday will be performed on Friday.
