FLAGSTAFF — Coconino Community College is continuing to award funds to qualified students from the federal CARES Act stimulus package.

About $100,000 is being awarded to qualifying students for the summer semester.

In addition to the awards from the spring semester, the current estimate is that 198 students will qualify for up to $530 in CCC CARES Act Grants for the summer semester because they were impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

“These funds will help qualifying students afford classes during this difficult time,” said CCC President Colleen A. Smith, Ph.D. “Many of our students wouldn’t be able to pursue their educational dreams without this much-needed assistance.”

Qualifying students for the summer term had to meet all criteria defined by the Department of Education. For details on the award criteria, please see our website at https://www.coconino.edu/cares-grant.
