The practice of sitting outdoors to enjoy the cool evenings has ancient roots and can be considered an interesting manifestation of cultural anthropology. In many cultures, this habit is linked to searching for a cool beverage after a hot day, to socialization with the local community, and to the desire to connect with the environment around you.

Additionally, this practice can vary significantly from culture to culture, showing how daily habits are influenced by environmental, historical, and social factors. In some South American communities, as shown in these images from the town of Juan Griego, in Margarita Island, Venezuela, it is possible to find groups of people sitting outside their homes gathering to share stories or simply take a break while watching community activity. They do it to relax after a long day, take some time for themselves, and watch life go by around them.
