FLAGSTAFF — Beaver Street will start a seasonal re-opening on Dec. 22 through Feb. 19. The re-opening will accommodate the expected increase in winter traffic and improve traffic flows within the community while providing the opportunity to move the project forward during the winter months.
Two lanes will be open on Beaver Street for southbound traffic during this re-opening. During this period, occasional single lane closures may occur during the week from Tuesday through Thursday. The connecting side streets (see attached map) will be open for traffic flow across Beaver Street, except for Dale Avenue. The final roadway and pavement improvements on Beaver Street south of Elm Avenue will begin at the end of the temporary roadway re-opening. Winter construction will occur primarily on Dale Avenue, which will remain closed.
