FLAGSTAFF — On Monday April 2 @ 7 pm in LA 120, Aviva Chomsky, Professor of History at Salem State University in Massachusetts, will present “What’s going on with Immigration? Donald Trump in Historical Perspective.”
Chomsky is author of many books, including Undocumented: How Immigration Became Illegal (2014), A History of the Cuban Revolution (2011) and They Take our Jobs! And Twenty other Myths about Immigration (2007), is active in Latin America solidarity and immigrants’ rights movements, and yes, she’s also the daughter of Noam Chomsky. She has appeared on Democracy Now and many other media outlets. This is an Immigration Awareness Series event, sponsored by NAU No más muertes / No More Deaths and Latin American Studies with funding from STAC.
