FLAGSTAFF — The Flagstaff Police Department Citizens Liaison Committee will hold its next quarterly public meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 at The Flagstaff Aquaplex, 1702 N. Fourth St., Flagstaff.
Marianne Sullivan, Senior Assistant City Attorney with the Flagstaff City Attorney’s Office, will present the session “Your First Amendment Rights.”
Community members are urged to come with their questions.
The quarterly event offers community members the opportunity to ask or submit questions to the committee on public safety, community relations and other issues affecting the community.
The entire community is invited to be a part of this meeting. Light refreshments will be provided. If special accommodations are needed, please contact the Flagstaff Police Department at 928-779-3646 at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting date/time.
About FPDCLC: The volunteer community group was formed following discussions with the community in early 2014 and is supported by a grant from the Arizona Community Foundation, the Flagstaff Community Foundation and the Forest Highlands Foundation.
Members work to improve the communications process between the department and the community, encourage community members to submit complaints without fear of retribution and provide a proactive informational forum to address community concerns when incidents and issues arise.
Citizens can communicate with the Flagstaff Police Department Citizen Liaison Committee via e-mail flagstaffpdclc@gmail.com or voicemail by calling (701) 428-1373. A designated member of the committee will respond to your e-mail or voice mail as soon as practical.
