FLAGSTAFF — Flag Tech Talk will present a discussion on “The Value of a Logo lecture” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 15 at Bookmans, Flagstaff.
Presented by Mike Russell of the Flagstaff CVB and MikeRDzign.
Russell has been designing logos for new businesses since 2004. His graphic design experience goes back to 1998 when he began his career at Northland Publishing. There he learned the principals of layout and design working with well known illustrators, photographers, and designers. Mike knows from years of experience as an artist the value of a good visual design. He will be presenting on what a good logo design is composed of, where to start on building and researching a logo, and why not to use crowdsourcing or spec work.
This lecture is part of the Flag Tech Talk discussion series that is held on the third Wednesday of every month. These free technical lectures are designed to help educate regular people so they understand more about computers, the Internet, and the resources available to them when it comes to managing their small business. They are sponsored by Reliable Web Designs, Bookmans, and Coconino SBDC.
These are more personal discussions than lectures and we’d encourage everyone to come armed with questions…!
