FLAGSTAFF — The Spring 2015 Immigration Awareness Series will begin with a prevention by Daniel A. Rodriguez at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22 at Northern Arizona University, Liberal Arts Building, Room 120.
Rodriguez is a grantee of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and a graduate of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU. HE has worked with and founded various advocacy and education-based organizations, including the Arizona Dream Act Coalition (ADAC) and the Somos America / We Are America Coalition, the largest immigrant rights coalition in the State of Arizona.
Rodriguez is currently an Arizona attorney practicing Family and Immigration Law. He is a founder of Keep Phoenix Together, a free legal clinic for immigrant families in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.
The event is open and free to the public. Sponsored by the College of Arts and Letters, Comparative Cultural Studies, Global Languages and Cultures, Honors College, Latin American Studies, NAU No More Deaths, the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, and the Student Activities Council.
