City of Flagstaff announces Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) City of Flagstaff ARPA Local Recovery Funds Aid to Nonprofits Providing Victim Services

FLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff is pleased to announce the availability of American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (“ARPA”) Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to promote the recovery of nonprofit organizations in the City that were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The City can use these funds to make strategic investments by providing valuable resources to community nonprofits to help ensure a strong and equitable recovery from the pandemic.

Recovery funding is available for non-profit organizations with programs dedicated to providing services and aid to victims of crime, including domestic violence. The organizations must have been in operation before the COVID-19 pandemic and demonstrate that they experienced a negative economic impact due to the required closures and other efforts to contain the pandemic or respond to increased service demand.

Information regarding the legal requirements of ARPA funding, organizations eligible to apply, and other pertinent information is outlined in detail in the NOFA.

Any questions pertaining to this NOFA shall be submitted in writing to Kristine Pavlik, Housing and Grants Administrator via email toKristine.Pavlik@flagstaffaz.org on or before July 5, 2024, at 4pm. The City’s written response to each question will be posted on the webpage links referenced above by July 8, 2024.
