Climate Conversations: Food sovereignty. Cultivating community resilience. Part of the Climate Resilience Project, Climate Conversations are expert-facilitated discussions on the science, news, and feelings around a climate topic. Tuesday, November 14 at 6PM. East Flagstaff Library Community Room.
Pride in Your Community: LGBT+ History of Flagstaff Oral History Project. Friday, November 17th at 4:30pm. Learn more about the Flagstaff Library and Commission of Diversity Awareness's LGBTQIA+ oral history project! Ages 12+. Meeting at the East Flagstaff Community Library.
Writing Workshop: Diné Bikéyah, Bee Hózhó (From Beauty is the Land) with Shaina A. Nez and Amber McCrary. How is our relationship with the land affected by climate change? Join us for a writing workshop about the past, present, and future of Dinétah. We will read from The Diné Reader: An Anthology of Navajo Literature and create our own poems and stories. Participants will receive a free copy of The Diné Reader and lunch! Saturday, Nov 18, 11:00am to 1:30pm. Downtown Library Northwest Corner. Registration required.

Senior Book Club at the Joe C Montoya Senior Center. 3rd Monday of every month. November 20th at 1pm. The Measure by Nikki Erlick.
Thursday Night Book Club: Angle of Repose by Wallace Stegner. January 11th at 6pm. Pick up a copy of the book at the Downtown Information Desk. Meet in the downtown community room or online via zoom!
Southwest Reads Book Club. November 29th at 6pm in the Downtown Library Community Room. Finders Keepers by Craig Childs. Coming soon: January 24th Capirotada and March 27th Brave the Wild River.
Youth Events
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Baby Lap Time. September 12th to November 14th. Tuesdays at 9:15 am. Downtown Library Community Room. Enjoy songs, stories, fingerplays, knee bounces, rhymes, and more with your infant.
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Toddler Tales. September 12th to November 16th. Tuesdays at 10am and Thursdays at 9:15am. Downtown Library Community Room. Your toddler will delight in this special time for stories, songs, games, and more.
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Preschool Express. September 13th to November 16th. Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10am. Downtown Library Community Room. Surprises galore are in store when we get together for stories, songs, and games.
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Saturday Story Stop. Year-round at 10:30am. Downtown Library Community Room. Come to a fun-filled morning of storytime for ALL ages.
Bards & Nobles: Dungeons & Dragons for teens. Downtown Library Conference Room. September 20th, October 4th, October 18th, November 1st, and November 15th from 5 to 7:30pm. Ages 12 to 18. Registration required.
Game Time, Hang Time. Ages 8 to 18. Come chill. Switch, PS4, and board games. Free snacks. 1 to 2pm on September 22nd, October 13th, October 27th, and November 10th. Downtown Library Community Room.
Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more. Click here to see available dates. Registration is required for all sessions.
