FLAGSTAFF — From ceramic cups, bowls and crosses, to colorful watercolor works featuring horses, visitors had a chance to experience a variety of art during the second Flagstaff First Friday Art Walk celebration held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church & Cultural Arts Center on June 6.
Ceramic artist Irene Dominguez of Plaza Vieja featured a wide variety of her works of art, during an event that also included the sale of hand-made rosaries by Alice Rosales, and a Recurdos history of Hispanic culture in Flagstaff program by Delia Muñoz of Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces.
The organization is presenting the Art Walk program in the basement at the suggestion of the Rev. Patrick Mowrer, pastor of San Francisco de Asís Parish.
The next First Friday event at the center is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1.
