Flagstaff residents urged to take Carbon neutrality survey

FLAGSTAFF — The Flagstaff City Council declared a Climate Emergency on June 23, 2020. The declaration commits Flagstaff to update its Climate Action and Adaptation Plan to achieve carbon neutrality by the year 2030 while supporting a collaborative climate action mobilization effort that will require full community participation.

The city’s Sustainability Section is collecting and considering community input through an online survey on the Flagstaff Community Forum. The survey explores local strategies and actions that will put the Flagstaff community on the pathway to achieving carbon neutrality. It includes questions on energy, transportation, waste management, and carbon sequestration and takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

If you are a Flagstaff resident, please share your voice with us by completing the survey at https://www.opentownhall.com/portals/227/Issue_9628.
