Sept. 29 — Join us for the NACOG Economic Recovery Summit

ECONOMIC RECOVERY SUMMIT

VIRTUAL TOWN HALL

September 29, 2020 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Clearly COVID-19 will have a significant economic impact on Northern Arizona for years to come. NACOG EDC will host a Economic Recovery Summit with regional leaders to discuss what investments, economic development actions, and partnerships with the State and Federal leaders we can create now to mitigate the economic damage and accelerate the recovery.

Because COVID-19 has so significantly changed the economic landscape, normal levels of investment into infrastructure and economic development projects are most likely insufficient to overcome the economic damage and also to position Northern Arizona to compete and thrive in the COVID-19-driven economic trends and realities.

Recognizing that every region around the State of Arizona and the Country will be working to recover from COVID-19, those regions that work together to plan, prioritize, and advocate for the required investment needed for economic recovery will thrive and prosper. The goal of the Economic Recovery Summit is to discuss the current trends and challenges, develop a plan and strategy for economic recovery and resources.

Since most of Arizona’s population lives in Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima Counties, Northern Arizona regions must work harder, smarter, and collaboratively to garner its fair share of resources, investment, and political power.

We hope to see you there.
