Families, this Tuesday, March 10 we will be hosting our APTT/Basketball SMS Olympic challenge. From 5:30-6:30, each country will have a boys and girls basketball team to represent them. Points for their country can be earned by winning these two events. Fans, cheerleaders and overall supporters are encouraged. At 6:30, we will move to the commons to have a lasagna, garlic bread and salad meal, and learn math games with your children. The country that has THE MOST FAMILIES in attendance will receive points for their country as well. This is a family event that we are doing to try to encourage parent involvement in their children’s education. The math games you will learn are fun, easy to do as a whole family and will feel more like game night than math night. We hope we have a ton of people at this event, so bring the whole family and come enjoy a basketball tournament, food and math games.
Monday, the all city STEM night will take place at the NAU Skydome. This is a fun event for the whole family.
There are no activities on Friday, March 13 as we begin our Spring Break.
