FLAGSTAFF — On Sunday, February 23, 20% of all purchased lift ticket proceeds at Arizona Snowbowl will benefit the Flagstaff Unified School District Foundation as part of the resort Community Giving Day.  This is the first time the two organizations are partnering while Arizona Snowbowl has a long history of supporting ski education throughout the Flagstaff Unified School District that includes 5th grade ski instruction.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Arizona Snowbowl for their support of the Foundation,” says Foundation Chairman Paul Kulpinski.  “Partnerships like these make an incredible impact on the lives of children in our community.”

Founded in 2005, the Flagstaff Unified School District Foundation enhances the educational experience of FUSD students through the continued support of alumni and community resources.  Foundation funding is awarded for innovative, original projects that motivate students, improve the learning process, and are not provided for in school budgets.

Today, FUSD Foundation efforts are expanding into developing deeper relationships with FUSD alumni and other community partners such as the Arizona Snowbowl and the Flagstaff Blues and Brews Festival for the benefit of student learning and experiences.
