Coconino County seeks Community Action Agency Board applicants

FLAGSTAFF — Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) Community Services is seeking candidates to serve on the Community Action Agency Board (CAAB). CCHHS Community Services is the designated Community Action Agency for Coconino County and the CAAB is the advisory board to the Coconino County Board of Supervisors.

Individuals should apply if they are interested in helping assist low-income families, want to combat poverty and improve people’s standard of living.

Advisory board members will serve as a Consumer Representative in Supervisorial District 3 (Williams, Parks, Kachina Village, Mountainaire, Munds Park, Oak Creek Canyon/Sedona) for a two-year term. Applicants must be over 18 years old, reside in Coconino County and be low-income.

Board members’ responsibilities are to fully participate in agency planning, development, implementation and evaluation including participating in board training annually. The CAAB board meets five times per fiscal year in Flagstaff at the Health & Human Services Building, located at 2625 N. King Street.
