Come volunteer with us on Earth Day!
APRIL 20 – VOLUNTEER EVENT
Join us on Saturday, April 20, from 9-11 a.m. at Fort Tuthill County Park for an Earth Day cleanup! We’ll gather at the parking lot next to the Bike Park and grab supplies for picking up trash around the park. See you there!

Coconino County Government 101
In partnership with the National Association of Counties, Coconino County is celebrating April as County Government Month. We take pride in our responsibility to protect and enhance the health, welfare and safety of our residents in cost-effective ways.

Join Northern Arizona Audubon Society at the Kachina Wetlands at 8 a.m. for their monthly bird walk. April is the height of spring migration, and the Kachina Wetlands are a premier location for birding.

Concert: Ongtupqa – A Hopi Cultural Music & Video Project
Ongtupqa - A Hopoi Cultural Music and Video Project
This Hopi cultural music and video project celebrates the most ancient sounds to emerge from Ongtupqa, the Hopi name for Grand Canyon which translates to “Salt Canyon”. Read more info about the event, hosted by the Verde Valley Archaeology Center and held at the Sedona Creative Life Center.

Coconino Cooks: Bread Baking
This clinic will teach you how to make basic yeast bread and quick breads, fantastic for having at home or for giving as gifts for the holidays. There will also be white bread, rolls, banana bread, and more recipes to try. Register online.

Recreation Resource Management
Fort Tuthill County Park Campground
The Fort Tuthill County Park Campground is situated in Northern Arizona’s ponderosa pine forests, about 3 miles south of Flagstaff in Fort Tuthill County Park. Recreation Resource Management operates the seasonal campground of 101 sites, and the 2019 season runs May 3 through October 14.
