At Century-Old Experimental Forest, History Is In The Trees
Ten miles north of Flagstaff is the oldest experimental forest in the United States. It was established more than 100 years ago at a time when foresters wanted to know how to encourage ponderosa pines to grow. Political Sign Ban Goes Into Effect in Prescott

First Arizona Case of Chicken Disease Detected in Coconino County
An outbreak of a deadly chicken virus in California is now in Arizona. Agriculture officials have confirmed the first case in Coconino County of virulent Newcastle disease. It’s an upper respiratory-GI illness that can affect both commercial and backyard chickens. Learn more at KNAU.org.
