Science in the Park helps kick off 2018 Flagstaff Festival of Science

September 26, 2018
Even before the official opening time of 10 a.m., young people at Wheeler Park in Flagstaff were busy peeking at a variety of science experiments, climbing onboard heavy construction equipment and running from table to table to view science exhibits during the 2018 Science in the Park held Sept. 22.

The 2018 Flagstaff Festival of Science, “Accelerating into the Future,” continues through Sept. 30 at various locations in Flagstaff.

New this year to the festival will be the Flagstaff Early Childhood Fair — “Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead!,” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at at Flagstaff High School, 400 W. Elm St., Flagstaff.
