FLAGSTAFF — The Flagstaff High School Student Council will present a “Conversation” community forum on student safety and gun control at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 at Flagstaff High School, 400 W. Elm St., Flagstaff, in the Commons area.
At 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 14, students nationwide will hold a “March For Our Lives” walkout to call for legislation regarding school safety and gun control, Joshua M. Vallecillo, Student Body President, stated in an e-mail.
“Flagstaff High School student government wants to have the conversation of school safety, however we want to go about it in a more productive manner,” Vallecillo said. “Thus, we are planning to host a community forum on March 14th at 6:30pm, where students, parents and community members can meet and voice their opinions regarding the topic. With input from local and state officials.”
