New Name, Renewed Energy.
The program formerly known as A Prairie Home Companion is re-inventing itself as “Live From Here” with Chris Thiele. The new name plays on the energy and enthusiasm at the core of the show. Saturday evening at six, Sunday morning at ten on KNAU News/Talk and Sunday evening at six on Classical KNAU.
Christmas night at seven on Classical KNAU is the final broadcast of the season by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Enjoy a complete cycle of all six of J.S. Bach’s wonderful Brandenburg Concertos. January 1st, we begin a series of broadcast concerts by the New York Philharmonic.
