Details: The Sustainability Program holds semiannual Fix-it Clinics to help residents learn basic repair skills, save money and keep items out of our landfill. Volunteers with skills in soldering, electronics repair, electrical repair, sewing, woodworking or general tinkering will be available to help residents fix their broken household items.
Common items brought to previous clinics include toasters, fans, bikes, clothing, and lamps. A deconstruction table, where kids can take apart irreparable items and learn how they work, will be available. This event is free and open to the public.
