Reflecting on the past 20 years at FALA, Mike Levin stated,”FALA has always been a place of love: love of education, love for each other, love of art, and love for the world. At FALA, we take risks, we take chances, we explore the unknown, and we learn … a lot. It will continue to be a beacon of light for the possibilities inherent in educating our youth. “

The impact of FALA students is felt throughout the community. Its students must complete 30 hours of community service, they perform for our community’s elders and children and raise money for causes such as the Flagstaff Family Food Center, Catholic Charities, St. Mary’s Food Bank, One New Education, Rancho Feliz, and Arizona’s Children (in addition to the other organizations).

A Journalist from the New York area commented upon meeting our students on an experiential learning trip,  “You and the Flagstaff Arts & Leadership Academy students are the best possible ambassadors for changing stereotypes some of us have about education in the middle of the country.”

Help us to continue our legacy of high quality education, community involvement, and artistic achievement through your support at the FALA 20th Anniversary Fundraiser Extravaganza!
