Flagstaff City Hall, Coconino County closed on Veterans Day

veterans-dayFLAGSTAFF — Flagstaff City Hall offices at 211 W. Aspen Ave. will be closed in observance of Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016. City Hall offices will reopen on Monday, Nov. 14 with regular hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

City of Flagstaff facilities that are closed Veterans Day include:

  • The Flagstaff Municipal Court (15 N. Beaver St.)
  • East Flagstaff Community Library (3000 N. Fourth St.)
  • Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library (300 W. Aspen Ave.)
  • Hal Jensen Recreation Area (2403 N. Izabel St.)
  • Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center (245 N. Thorpe Rd.)

The Jay Lively Ice Arena at 1650 N. Turquoise will be on a regular schedule with public skating from 5:30-8:00 p.m. The Aquaplex at 1702 N. 4th Street will be on a regular schedule and recreation swim will be from 10:00 a.m. – 8:45 p.m. Trash and recycling collection, along with landfill, will also be on a regular schedule.

Coconino County Offices closed Veterans Day

All Coconino County offices will be closed Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

While the administrative offices at the Sheriff’s Office will be closed, Dispatch, Records, Patrol, and Detention will conduct business as usual. Please dial 9-1-1 for emergencies. For non-emergencies, dial 928-774-4523 to connect with the non-emergency Dispatch number or to leave a message for one of the administrative offices.

Coconino County Public Health Services District (CCPHSD) Animal Management will have an officer available from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2016. Contact the CCPHSD Animal Management office at 928-679-8756 to leave a message and an officer will return the call. Please call 9-1-1 for any emergencies.

Coconino County’s parks and natural areas will remain open during the holiday, but administrative offices at Fort Tuthill County Park will be closed and limited staff or services will be available. The Fort Tuthill Bike Park is open. The public is encouraged to visit one of the County’s parks for a morning run, afternoon hike or to view local wildlife, however the use of fireworks is prohibited.
