Basic Business Empowerment is a business development plan training program for Coconino County residents designed to help them gain confidence and information from trainers and guest speakers who have successful small business experience.

Coconino County Community Services (CCCS), a Community Action Agency, launched BBE in spring 2007 to help those with a business idea to spur community economic vitality. The program now offers business feasibility plan development training using PitchThenPlan and SmallBizU resources to help residents quickly translate their business idea into a viable business plan. The CCCS-BBE program partners with the Small Business Development Center, providing even more resources and learning opportunities for its training participants.

The 36-hour, 12-week program meets Tuesdays at the County Health and Community Services Building, 2625 N. King St., Flagstaff. The cost is $125.

Coconino County residents interested in BBE training should complete an application as soon as possible since the classroom-based training is limited to 12 participants. Visit http://www.coconino.az.gov/index.aspx?NID=493 for more information.
