Work on Beaver Street to implement separated bike lanes pilot project

FLAGSTAFF — Work related to a pilot project installing separated bike lanes on Beaver Street will take place on Wednesday, October 20. The work will be completed on the same day and will take place on Beaver Street, spanning from Cherry Street to Butler Avenue.

Traffic control devices and/or a shadow vehicle will be implemented throughout the day and motorist are encouraged to seek an alternate route or be prepared for slight delays as they travel through the project limits.

The work on Beaver Street will occur concurrently with work on Butler Avenue that will be complete on Friday, October 22. The work on both Beaver Street and Butler Avenue represents the beginning stages of a pilot project that will implement separated bike lanes on Beaver Street and on Butler Avenue.
