Introduction to Figure Drawing

June 3-13
Mondays- Thursdays 9 am -12 pm $325
Learning the essential figure drawing techniques and human anatomy to create accurate and dynamic figure drawings while working from a live model. Some Materials provided. Jeff Roth is Flagstaff painter and muralist and teaches drawing and painting at CCC.
Grand Canyon Mural

Mondays- Thursdays, 9 am to noon $250
Participants will work with muralists Jeff Roth to design and paint mural of the Grand Canyon along with geographical interpretation on the CCC Lone tree Campus. All materials provided.
Ceramics Workshop

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9 am – 1 pm $330
All levels are welcome. New to the art of ceramics? No worries. Just want studio time to refine your needs and provide as much or as little instruction as you wish. Carli was recently recognized by the Flagstaff Arts Council as 2019 Viola Awards Emerging Artist!
Introduction to Portrait Drawing

This workshop will give participants an introduction to facial anatomy and the structure of the human head. Materials included. Jim Schroeder is a Flagstaff painter and former graphic designer and art director. He teaches design and art director. He teaches design and painting classes at CCC.
Painting with Gouache

Monday -Thursday, 9am – 12 pm $200
Learn fun techniques with gouache (opaque watercolor) on white and gray papers, then let your own creativity flow as you create a painting of your own. Most materials are included. Elaine Dillingham is a Flagstaff artist. She paints with acrylics and watercolor and teaches drawing and painting classes at CCC.
Introduction to Landscape Painting with Primary Colors

Learn color mixing skills to create beautiful landscape painting using only the three primary colors. Materials included.
Surface Design Techniques for Fabric and Paper

Monday- Thursday, 9 am -12 pm $200
Start where you are: Get inspired, break through, learn new (and old) techniques, apply your ideas to fabric, evaluate the results (on your own or with others feedback) Repeat. Participants will purchase some supplies from the instructor. Some materials included. Darcy Falk has been making art from fabric since 1984, and has exhibited nationally and internationally, including twice in Quilt National. She teaches to help other artists discover the work they are meant to do.
