Flagstaff Bike Month Bingo. Pick up your bingo card at the Downtown Library! May 1-30, 2024.
Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams. 6:00 - 7:30pm on Wednesday, May 29th in the Downtown Library Community Room. Michelle Gray, PhD and Sara Gibson, MD will present on Dr. Matthew Walker’s seminal book, “Why We Sleep.” Discover the sleep stages involved in dreaming and a 12-point plan promoting good sleep.
Flagstaff’s walkable, bikeable future with FBO Board Member and former Vice Mayor Adam Shimoni. Adam Shimoni will discuss successes, struggles, and what's to come for cyclists and pedestrians in Flagstaff. Join us for this engaging and informative conversation and learn how you can help Flagstaff become a safe and comfortable place to walk and bike! Senior Book Club at the Joe C. Montoya Community & Senior Center. 3rd Monday of every month. June 17th at 1pm The Wishing Game by Meg Shaffer. Upcoming: The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates on July 15th.
LGBT+ Book Club. July 8th at 6:30pm. Kaikeyi by Vaishnavi Patel. East Library.
Southwest Reads Book Club. Desert Solitaire by Edward Abbey on July 24th.  Coming soon: No Spiritual Surrender by Klee Benally on September 25th. 4th Wednesday of every other month at 6:00pm Downtown Library Community Room.
Banned Book Club: The Outsiders. Tuesday Aug 6th, from 6 to 7pm in the Downtown Library Community Room. Gang violence. Drug use. Family dysfunction. Join us to discuss the novel as well as the concepts of free speech and censorship as we encounter them today.
Youth Events
Spring 2024 Storytimes at the Flagstaff Downtown Library. Saturday Story Stop. Year-round at 10:30am. Come to a fun-filled morning of storytime for ALL ages.
Flagstaff City - Coconino County Public Library Teen Volunteers wanted! The Downtown Library and East Flagstaff Community Library are looking for teen volunteers to help us with our 2024 Summer Reading Challenge, June 10 - July 26. Applications available in person & online at http://tiny.cc/teenapplication24   Due by May 31st.

Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.
