In an effort to be proactive and flatten the curve, District 2 employees will be working remotely from home. We are still available to be reached via phone or email. We are currently working on holding all meetings telephonically. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.
As a friendly reminder, please share this newsletter with your friends and neighbors to ensure that everyone is staying informed about our current pandemic and Coconino County’s efforts during this time. I will also be posting regular updates on my District 2 Facebook page which you can find on Facebook by clicking here @LizArchuletaCoconinoCountyDistrict2 or typing this in the search bar.

Coconino County Treasurers Update about Property Taxes
Our office has received a number of phone calls requesting if the County is extending the 2nd half property tax due date. The County does not have the authority to extend or change the due date. Any extensions and changes can only be done by the legislature. At this time, the 2nd half 2019 property taxes are due by May 1, 2020 at 5pm. Additionally, any taxes that are already delinquent are continuing to accrue interest per A.R.S. 42-18053. We are currently working on a getting an extension during this recess.
Our office has created a special section on the Coconino County website that has the most up to date information on tax due dates, hours, important numbers, etc. for you if you have any questions during this time. Please visit https://www.coconino.az.gov/2320/COVID-19-Response for more details.
