Discover Flagstaff publishes Flagstaff 365 Happenings on a weekly basis to highlight local events happening in and around Flagstaff. It is distributed throughout Downtown Flagstaff, displayed in kiosks and storefronts, and also available at the Flagstaff Visitor Center. Below are some highlights of the week.

Thursday, August 5
A Bird’s Eye View: Finding C.J. Dyer, The Pioneer Museum. Learn about accomplished artist and surveyor who created bird’s-eye view renditions of Arizona in the late 19th Century. 6 p.m.; free virtual event.
Friday, August 6
First Friday Artwalk, Downtown Flagstaff. Art galleries and businesses open their doors with special art exhibitions and more. 6-9 p.m.; free.
Saturday-Sunday, August 7-8
Flagstaff Chili Festival, Route 66 Chili Cookoff, Thorpe Park. Enjoy the best chili you ever ate. Sat. 11 a.m., Sun.-10 a.m.
