Connections Spotlight: Nominations now open for the Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth’s 2020 Caring for Children Awards

Do you know someone in Coconino County who makes a difference in the lives of children?

Nominations are now open for the 2020 Caring for Children Awards, recognizing outstanding individuals from throughout Coconino County who work to make this a better place for our youngest community members.

Completed nominations are due by Tuesday, Feb. 11. Click here or on image at right to download a PDF of nomination form.

Education Spotlight

STEM City, a nonprofit that seeks to promote science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to the Flagstaff community, is seeking partners and sponsors for its Flagstaff Community STEM Night at the NAU Skydome on March 9, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The free event, which had more than 2,000 participants last year, encourages children and their families to experience and think about STEM in new ways.
