Travel Alert: Plan for ramp closures on Interstate 17 south of Flagstaff Oct. 16 and 17

Northern Arizona drivers who use northbound Interstate 17 should plan for ramp closures Wednesday, Oct. 16, and Thursday, Oct. 17, while the Arizona Department of Transportation installs pavement markings.

ADOT advises drivers to plan for delays and allow extra travel time while the following closures are in place:

  • The northbound I-17 on- and off-ramps at both Lake Mary Road (Exit 339) and Kachina Boulevard (Exit 333) will be closed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16.
  • The northbound I-17 on- and off-ramps at J.W. Powell Boulevard (Exit 337) will be closed  from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17.
  • DETOUR:Traffic accessing the ramps during the closures will be detoured to the next on- or off-ramp.

Motorists should follow signed detour routes and plan for travel delays.
